Itinerary
This course will focus on the effects that can be captured with night time and long-exposure photography. This course is for photographers who wish to build on their skill set. Participants will learn how to use night time and long exposure techniques to create photographs that have an ethereal quality. With the Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands as inspiration, participants will learn how lighting, aperture and shutter speed combine to create stunning visual effects including light trails. Participants will learn :
Long exposure: importance of a tripod mounted camera to create visual representations of the vibrant city and night lights
Aperture: how to achieve light trails and light painting
Handheld ISO: combining low shutter speed and high ISO to create accurate exposure.
