Smith Street is a small street running through the heart of the Chinatown district in Singapore.Its red-light reputation contributed character to the street, which was also known for hawker stalls crowding into the street during its heyday reputation as the main “Food Street”.

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is located in Chinatown. It was built to house the Buddha Tooth Relic in a stupa made out of gold and contributed to by its followers

The temple looks grand and lavish from the outside and inside it is as equally decorative and colourful. The temple keeps information regarding the Buddha’s history on the second floor and other consecrated remnants of the Buddha on the third floor.
