Inside the temple stands the highest Padmasana in Indonesia, at an impressive height of 18 meters. The Padnasama is a lotus-like pagoda shrine dedicated to their Supreme God.

Next, you will stop by to visit the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Temple. This temple is the largest Chinese temple in Indonesia, situated on a hill called Lucky Hill.
The temple is dedicated to the Maitreya, who is the future Buddha who will achieve complete enlightenment, Maitreya can also be seen at the most centre of the temple plated in gold standing at 5m high.

From a vantage point at Batam Center, you can see the Welcome to Batam monument and Grand Mosque of Batam, which is a piece of modern architecture seemingly ahead of time in this laid-back developing Indonesian town.
The Grand Mosque of Batam is the largest mosque in Batam, it can accommodate 3500 people in the prayer hall, the whole mosque can accommodate 15000 people. It has the highest minaret in Batam which stands at 66 meters.

Next, you will get to make a quick stop at a local bakery to sample famous Indonesian layer cakes, also affectionately known to the locals as Kueh Lapis. Kueh Lapis is typically served in small, thin, rich and fragrant slices.

You will then head over to Batam International Airport to board a 1-hour Airbus ATR flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital.
Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur airport, your private licensed guide will escort you in your private, air-conditioned deluxe minivan to the famous Batu Caves on the edges of Kuala Lumpur.
The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old. Batu Caves was founded by K. Thamboosamy Pillai, an Indian trader in 1891, as a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. A 42.7-metre high gold-painted statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in January 2006, having taken 3 years to construct. It is the tallest Lord Murugan statue in the world.

30 minutes drive from Batu Caves is the Istana Negara (National Palace). It is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. Located near the National Palace is the Independence Square (Merdeka Square). This is the historical place where the Union flag was lowered and the national flag was raised for the very first time at the struck of midnight of 31st August 1957.

At Satun Geopark, you will stop by Phu Pha Phet Caves, which is the largest cave in Thailand and the 4th biggest cave in the world measuring about 19 acres. Phu Pha Phet Caves means Diamond Mountain Caves in Thai language.
As this is a UNESCO Global Geopark site, all tourists will be assigned to enter the caves via a staircase in groups led by a separate cave guide. Your private guide will wait for you below the staircase while you spend about 2 hours in the caves.
The separate cave guide will point out the highlights of the cave formations by flashlight and hand signs. You will see various stunning stalactites and stalagmites that took millions of years to form. If you are lucky, you may be able to spot fossils on the rock wall as well.

Our last stop in Thailand will be to see the lake inside Thale Ban National Park. According to local folklore, an earthquake 3 centuries ago caused a landslide which in turn formed dam and the lake in the valley. Submerged trees have also been found at the bottom of the lake.
